Common Stain Removal Guide

Red Wine

Blot immediately, then pour white wine or club soda on the stain. Rinse with cold water and apply salt. Let sit before brushing off.

Makeup

Use a makeup remover wipe or mild dish soap with cold water. Gently dab until stain lifts. Avoid rubbing.

Food & Grease

Scrape off excess, then apply cornstarch or talcum powder to absorb oil. Brush off after 15 minutes before washing.

Grass

Apply rubbing alcohol or white vinegar to the stain, then rinse with cold water. Wash as usual.

Blood

Soak in cold water with salt or hydrogen peroxide. Never use hot water as it sets the stain.

Ink
